The rebirth of a dull shirt. Took me 30 minutes, and I got something pretty cool for free :)

Laptop stand
Make Your Own Recycled Cardboard Laptop Stand. This is so smart. You know you shouldn´t have your laptop in your lap, and on the table it can get too hot - it need a fantray under it or it need some air circulation. With this stand it will be way better then all those books or whatever you balance your laptop on :))

Silly Betty
This is Silly Betty, my guardian angel. She´s made of some red rope, buttons, pieces of an old sheet and fluffy wool. She is so coco and so cute and she´s protecting my home from burglars and salesmen :)

What to do a rainy day? Well I made some jewellery. I have lots of jewellery that I never wear, and sometimes I buy a necklace just because it has got ONE nice pearl in it that I fall in love with. So sometimes I make new jewellery from the old . The old fashioned keychain is from the 60´s. It has transformed from being a simple keychain to a charm with my favouriteword "transformation" written on it, and some blingbling on the side.

My son Jonatan had hundreds and hundreds of bottle caps and he wanted to throw them away. Instead we glued them on masonite. We decided to make the flags of our favouritecountries. It took a while, and sometimes we had to get more caps in a certain color, but we managed to make this fantastic (and heavy) piece of art with flags from at least 7 countries. It was so cool and a nice way of reusing something you normally throw away.

To me being creative has nothing to do with proving something. To me it´s more about having fun, and I seldom use expensive stuff when I craft. This doll is made of pure trash, old jewellery, a scarf that was so old it broke in to a zillion pieces. Take what you have and make something, if you have fun while doing it, it will show.
